QUANTAI ENERGY / LOGISTICS

Solar power for warehouses and logistics centres

A large roof can generate electricity where it is consumed. We size a solar plant around actual demand, roof condition and connection limits so the assessment reflects your facility.

01 / OPPORTUNITY

Where solar may fit

Rooftop solar may suit distribution centres, production warehouses and cold stores with steady daytime demand. Roof area alone does not establish the economics: load and structural checks come first.

Where the roof is constrained, ground-mounted solar or parking canopies can be assessed as separate options. Explore solar carports →

02 / FEASIBILITY

What we check before a proposal

01

Demand and tariff

We compare the warehouse's daytime and evening load with expected solar generation. Refrigeration, shifts and weekend operations can materially change on-site consumption.

02

Roof and access

We review usable roof area, structure, roof condition, snow and wind loads, fire safety routes and how work can be carried out while the facility operates.

03

Electrical connection

We inspect the technical conditions, available capacity, connection point and protection. Export restrictions and several separate electricity supplies need their own design.

03 / OUTPUT

What an initial assessment shows

An indicative capacity range, an annual generation scenario, possible on-site consumption share and tariff-based savings. We state assumptions and missing inputs explicitly; final performance and budget follow survey and design.

04 / INPUTS

What to prepare

  • Electricity use in kWh for each of the last three completed months and current tariff
  • Allocated capacity under the technical conditions and a single-line diagram, if available
  • Roof plan or approximate usable area, roof type and photographs
  • Operating schedule and the presence of refrigeration or other significant daytime loads
